Q: I understand that a Roth 401(k) will be available next year. What will the limits be for how much I can put in? Can I put money into both a regular 401(k) and a Roth 401(k)?

A: Starting in January 2006, employers can offer their employees a Roth 401(k) in addition to a traditional 401(k).

Like the Roth IRA, the Roth 401(k) doesn't provide a current tax deduction, but it provides tax-free withdrawals during retirement.
